I recently moved here and was searching for a reputable salon where I could get my hair thermally straightened. I found 3 separate salons in Sacramento that offer the original thermal straightening technique (Yuko or Liscio) and I had consultations at all 3 places. I was absolutely most comfortable with Joy at Salon Bravissimo. She clearly had the most experience and demonstrated the best overall knowledge of the process. I just had my curly hair straightened and cut by Joy yesterday and I could not be MORE THRILLED with the results. My hair looks fabulous!!! Also important to note is that Joy is the owner of the salon, and she is doing a great job of making it a comfortable yet chic place to get your hair styled or skin cared for. Joy had her two great assistants (Julia and Holly) assist her with the straightening processes, which meant that she completed the process in 3 hours, far shorter time than I was prepared to spend getting it done, and this also meant that the cost was cheaper since beyond 3 hours the price is an hourly rate (consistent with every salon I talked to). I really just can't express how trully pleased I was with my entire experience with Joy and her salon - I will definitely be a regular now! PS: I do not know anyone that works at this salon, I am writing this to help anyone else who may be searching for a good salon, as I was a couple of weeks ago. I strongly recommend the Yuko straightening treatment performed by Joy if you have unwanted curly or wavy hair. I will be forever grateful to her!

I've done extensive research regarding permanent hair straightening and I decided to go with Yuko Systems. I was on their website and found Joy at Salon Bravissimo. She did a wonderful job on my hair. It's hard to describe my excitement of finally having beautiful smooth straight hair. Thank you much.

I have been going to Salon Bravissimo for my haircuts for quite some time. I've recently found out that they added a facial and skincare section to the salon. I decided to try it out. Nikki, the facial technician was incredible. She was extremely knowledgable and professional. I felt so rejuvenated that I made it a regular commitment to see her. I've tried other facial techs at other salon/spas and I would have to say Nikki is the best.

I have been a customer of Salon Bravissimo for over 5 years. The staff is polite and courteous and always up to date on the latest trends in hair and color! Just look at the stylists! They always wear the cuts and colors themselves. Anyone in the Salon is Fantastic!! I was referred to Dana from one of her clients and now I too recommend her to anyone I know. I am fortunate to have a career that allows me to have different styles and colors and because of this I have had Dana take my hair from Pink to Black to Blonde to Red to Brunette from long to short then long again and always my hair has stayed in great condition. I also have her style my hair for events that I am attending. What I find the most refreshing about her is her honesty if I want something and it may not work she sets my expectations but allows me to make the choice. It’s my hair and I definitely want my choice but I trust her judgment. Everyone I recommend loves the outcome and the experience. So again I recommend Salon Bravissimo and any of the stylists but Dana is definitely my choice!

Terri did such a wonderful job of highlighting and cutting my hair. She really paid attention to my needs and took the time to do it right. I strongly recommend.

I have been going to Salon Bravissimo for years and have seen many good stylists come and go. The quality of their stylists has always been consistently high. They are knowledgable and personable and I always leave feeling refreshed and like I have the right style for my hair. They are awesome!

I am so impressed with the hair color I received at Salon Bravissimo. It is a good find when you track down someone that really understands color. Joy is absolutely amazing. Thank you and I love the salon atmosphere.

I have heard about eyelash extensions and was always interested in having it done. My lashes are short and stubby and I dread fake lashes. I did some research on the net and found Xtreme lashes. This is the company that most Hollywood stars are using. Then I found out that Salon Bravissimo offers this service. I am so glad that I had it done there. Jen, my technician was great! She did such a wonderful job I feel incredible. My eyes look so defined and alluring all my friends are just awe-struck when I told them that these will stay on for months at a time with some routine maintenance. I thought it would be hard to maintain the lashes. To my surprise, I don't even change anything from my lifestyle. I can still swim and do all of my activities. It is truly amazing how long lashes can change a person's look. I strongly recommend the service.

Pros: Eyelash extensions are incredible. Looks great, easy to maintain.

I recently moved to Sacramento and was looking for a new hair salon. I am so fortunate to have found Salon Bravissimo. My stylist is Joy and she is unbelievable. By far this is the best my hair has ever looked!!! She is so talented with her extensions service. I wanted a dramatic change from my short bob to silky long hair. She uses the Hairlocs system which does not use glues so your hair will not be damaged. I could not believe the results! I feel like a whole new person. Thanks Joy. Furthermore, the staff at Salon Bravissimo are very friendly and helpful. A+ customer service. Strongly recommend.

Pros: Talented stylist, great customer service, very trendy atmosphere.

Cons: Need to book appointment ahead of time, not too easy for walk-in appts.

I've been going to Salon Bravissimo for more than ten years now and although stylists have come and gone, they've all been first rate which is why I've stayed a loyal customer all this time. They're not kidding when they say they do "precision cuts." I have very straight, very thick Asian hair and too many times I watched in dismay as an untrained stylist hacked away, leaving me with uneven bangs, or mismatched ends. That won't happen at Salon Bravissimo. Every stylist I have had there has been excellent. I've never been unhappy with a cut. And whenever I've told a stylist that I'm bored with my current 'do and would like to try something different, he/she has always suggested and executed a new style that wasn't too crazy, but was exactly what I needed. My current stylist, Eva, is by far my favorite, though. This woman is absolutely meticulous and will literally spend an hour or more cutting my hair. I always feel like a million bucks after she's done with me. She's friendly, courteous and has stayed late, past closing, for me. I believe Eva is one of the more experienced stylists at the salon, and believe me, she's worth every single penny.

Pros: Stylists are highly skilled, receptionists are courteous, friendly and helpful

I live in San Francisco and I would drive all the way to Salon Bravissimo just to get my hair done. I am very impressed with the appearance of the salon - very clean, neat, and organized, with a professional atmosphere. Most importantly, the friendly staff there provides excellent haircutting and hair coloring services. Before I went there, my hair was dried and damaged from the previous hair salon I visited, but after employing their services, the appearance of it had really improved. Believe it or not, some strangers had even stopped me on the streets to ask me where I get my hair done. Salon Bravissimo offers a wide range of products as well, and I would personally recommend the Bumble and Bumble products. I usually put a certain product of theirs on my hair after I dry it, and it really creates a silky appearance. Overall, I would rate this salon 10 out of 10 and would definitely recommend it to everyone!

I've found my lifesaver-- Joy! She is the best stylist anyone can ever dream of. Everytime I step into Salon Bravissimo, I have no idea what I want to do with my hair. However, everytime I step out of the salon, I am definitely 110% satisfied. Joy is very creative, she has a unique style when it comes to cut and coloring. She designs my hair according to the shape of my face, my head, and the texture of my hair. Because I have very thin hair, she cuts it in a way that will give me more volume. Every visit is a learning experience because she explains what she will do before she beginsI I love the excellent service, knowledgeable and experienced staff. You definitely need to try this place out. You will walk out looking and feeling GREAT!!!

Before I found Salon Bravissimo, my hair was horrible. My nick name was Curly and I always had my hair in a bun to prevent it from getting everywhere. Have the same problem? See Joy at Bravissimo! She has all the skills to make your dream of having straight hair without the frizzy aftermath. After recieving a Yuko hair straightening treatment from Joy, I never have to spend hours straightening my hair with a flat iron! I also recommend Joy for amazing hair cuts and coloring. After my appointments, I get tons of compliments on my hair! Joy, THANKS for your committment in helping me look and feel better!

My wife bought me a hair service package at Salon Bravissimo. I feel like a whole new person with my new look. I can really see the difference in going to a high end salon. My stylist took the time to analyze what hairstyle and color matches my face. Thank you so much!

I am new to Sacramento. I was scared that I would never find someone as good as my stylist I had before. I got exactly what I asked for, color and cut.
